Our boutique opened in Notting Hill in September 2002, revealing a modern boudoir treasure-trove that offered beautiful products for today's luxury living. Instore we showcase only the most special, unique pieces from furniture, home and soft furnishings right through to fashion, lingerie, accessories and gifts.
Ensuring that the store has some of the most beautiful pieces available internationally, product sourcing takes us around the world and many items are exclusive to us in London and the UK. For the founders Alison Chow and Sophie Oliver, the discovery of new talented designers from different parts of the world, especially Sydney, Alison's hometown, was an integral part of the make up of the store. Coco Ribbon became the first boutique to bring many of these emerging names to London and was soon known as one of the major selling platforms for Australian design throughout the United Kingdom. Our online boutique was launched in June 2005 to fulfil demand for a cult international following and nine months later, The Panty Postman (an innovative lingerie service) was born.
We want to surround our customers with style, originality, quality and luxury. The store replicates a beautiful living or drawing room and the furniture we sell is a key part of the overall look. The website enables local and international clients to shop with ease while still experiencing the Coco Ribbon brand and The Panty Postman is a bit of cheeky fun! From lingerie, gifts, books, jewellery and fashion items to the French antique armoires and dressers that they adorn and spill out from, and from the beautiful Italian chandeliers lining the ceiling, the hand printed silk curtains in the dressing area to the wonderful pieces of art that hang on the wall, everything is for sale!
